My name is Erin Renee Roberts. I am a licensed massage therapist and multi-faceted performance artist. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I graduated from a 630-hour massage program at Missouri College. In May 2013, I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. By combining my two degrees, my mission is to provide quality, affordable massage for the artist community.
I use Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Reiki techniques to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual demands artistic work calls for, which is usually misunderstood by other professions. I founded Hand and Heart Massage for the Creative Inhabitant, LLC to create an environment that promotes the importance of massage as a component of self-care for artists. It is not a luxury, but a necessity. I intend to cultivate a mental health conscious atmosphere for artists (of all mediums, performance and visual) to practice stress reduction and relaxation techniques that will help artists maintain strong, productive and long-standing careers.
